Best Sunscreens – Products that deliver

Nine Surprising Facts About Sunscreen

The Environmental Working Group is at it again with their education of sun protection, and it couldn’t come at a better time for Summer. To learn more about sunscreens and what makes them good or bad, head over to their blog post: Nine Surprising Facts About Sunscreen. Using this information, EWG has developed a list of the best sunscreens which we particularly enjoyed. Unsurprisingly, Elemental Herbs (which we sell here) was part of Best Sunscreens list in which they had the best ratings for performance and safety (effectiveness). To view the full list of sunscreens, go to their post here Best Sunscreens: Products that deliver.

The takeaway from all of this?  A good sunscreen’s role is to prevent sunburns which are a major cancer risk factor. The key is to use the correct sunscreen properly.

EWG has researched and ranked some of the more popular and safer beach and sport sunscreens to compile a list of Best Sunscreens. Elemental Herbs received the best evaluation rankings (lower number = better).
